Look elsewhere if: You only want to install a finished plugin, or expect generated examples to be correct without checking current APIs.

Install for this repository only

Run the installation command in your shell after reviewing the source. Local scope enables the package for you in this repository. It does not enable it for every collaborator.

claude plugin install plugin-dev@claude-plugins-official --scope local

Use it after installation

Use /plugin-dev:create-plugin to begin a guided authoring workflow.

Installation and loading troubleshooting

Limitations & considerations

  • Generated examples must be checked against current documentation
  • Some guidance describes settings hooks; it does not automatically make a JavaScript mod
