Who maintains the directory
The ClaudeStack site maintainer is responsible for the editorial summaries and catalog selection. Original extension authors remain responsible for their own projects. Recommendations are source-based editorial judgments with an explicit review date.
What a source review means
For this first release, we reviewed the public documentation and manifests of 24 entries on October 5, 2026. We checked package names and installation syntax against official Claude Code documentation. We did not execute, benchmark or security-audit the extensions.
Each entry includes its type, publisher, source status, original source, license, requirements, limitations and review date. A date records when the source was checked; it is not a claim about the extension’s release date or support policy.
Publisher and marketplace are separate
“Anthropic plugin” identifies an internal package in Anthropic’s official repository. “Third-party integration” identifies a wrapper for an external publisher’s tool. “Anthropic sample” identifies a DevRel playground project shared as-is. Inclusion in a marketplace is not authorship, endorsement by ClaudeStack or a security certification.
Components have a containing package
Skills, agents and commands in this release have their own named role and original source file. Their pages describe that specific component and explicitly identify the plugin to install. We do not sell or distribute those components as separate products.
How recommendations work
The editor picks prioritize a clear task fit, readable source, identifiable publisher and documented setup. They are editorial judgments with stated limitations, not measured performance rankings. We do not publish star counts, ratings or security scores.
Licensing and attribution
Original extension code stays with its publisher. Descriptions here are editorial summaries linked to the original documentation. Apache-2.0 labels refer to the inspected package or wrapper source; an external service or server can have a separate license and terms. Read the linked license before copying or redistributing code.
Scope of the first release
The directory includes documented plugins, three sample Mods, MCP wrappers and selected authoring components. Hooks has an explainer with related packages. Search and comparisons work locally in your browser. There are no hosted extension executions, paid placements, user ratings or submission accounts.
Source information can change after our review. When something differs, rely on the publisher’s current documentation and issue tracker. Each entry links back to that source.
Corrections and updates
When a source changes, the review process is to check the publisher’s documentation and manifest, revise the affected purpose, requirements or install notes, and record a new review date and source revision. Corrections to an extension’s own behavior belong with its original publisher and issue tracker.
This release does not have a public correction intake form. Use the linked original source for current support and known issues; our recorded review date makes the limits of the summary visible.
