When to choose it

Watching github.com pull requests from a terminal session.

Choose it if: You already use authenticated gh and want visible PR status during work.

Look elsewhere if: You use GitHub Enterprise or need a durable watch list across restarts.

What the source describes

• A PR URL as the entire prompt toggles watching without a model turn
• PR links in ordinary prompts, replies or gh pr create output can start watching
• Refreshes tracked PR status once a minute

Requirements

• Claude Code 2.1.287+; upstream runtime testing cited an older 2.1.269 build
• Authenticated GitHub CLI with access to each watched repository

These are the source’s documented installation steps. Read the source, license and requirements first. Marketplace installation can use a different scope from a local --plugin-dir session. Restart Claude Code or use /reload-plugins afterward.

Use it after installation

Restart or /reload-plugins, then paste a github.com pull-request URL.

Limitations & considerations

• Runs one read-only gh GraphQL call per watched PR per minute
• Reads PR URLs from prompts and selected replies or tool output; URL-only prompts are consumed
• Watch list is memory-only; merged and closed PRs continue polling until removed
• GitHub Enterprise URLs are not recognized
• Optional macOS sound, cmux notifications and URL opening launch local processes

Use claude plugin validate on a downloaded directory to inspect declared behavior; validation does not certify safety. Check the official trust guidance before loading it.
